What is Storewards?

The STOREWARDS app turns your receipts into opportunities to win great gift cards. By simply taking a photo (we call it 'snapping') of store receipts and sharing them with us, you can earn coins to win amazing gift cards! The more receipts you snap, the more coins you will earn.

So go ahead and snap a photo of a receipt. It is that easy! Once you have reached a certain number of coins you can redeem your coins for a gift card.

How can I avoid invalid snaps?

Make sure that you:

  1. Only snap images of receipts from your own purchases.

  2. The receipts must be clear and readable. Make sure not to upload wrinkled, overshadowed, partial or blurry images.

  3. Make sure you upload receipts from the last 14 days.

  4. Upload each receipt only once.

  5. Having more than one account is not permitted.

  6. Snap the entire receipt from top to bottom - do not submit a cut, folded or partial receipt.

  7. Receipts must contain products and prices (do not have to be only food and/or drink).

  8. Do not upload the same receipt under different accounts.

  9. Images of the products are not permitted.

  10. Up to 20 receipts may be uploaded each week.

  11. Do not upload receipts that are not from the UK (i.e. a shop in the UK, or an online retailer delivered to the UK)

  12. Make sure you upload receipts only in English.

  13. Receipts must contain the description of the product (not dept01, goods, etc.).

  14. For some retailers it is required to snap both sides of the receipt due to relevant data printed on the back (e.g. Sainsbury's, Morrisons)

  15. For long receipts, you can part it up to 5 sections by clicking on “next part” when photographing your receipt.

 

The following tickets or receipts are not permitted:

  1. Post Office

  2. Service receipts/payments

  3. Household bills

  4. Credit card slips

  5. Hand-Written Receipts

  6. Ticket Stubs

  7. Refund/Return of Purchase Slips

  8. Receipts From Non-Retailer Businesses (i.e. service, entertainment, government, utilities)

  9. Bus

  10. Railway

  11. Cinema

  12. Lottery

  13. Entrance to a venue

  14. Bank

  15. Money exchange

  16. Money transfers

  17. Money withdrawals

  18. Parking

  19. Leisure sports (swimming, squash, etc.)

The following actions are not permitted:

  • Snapshots from an electronic device (Computer, Phone, or Tablet) are not permitted.

  • Folding or cutting sections on the receipt is not permitted.

  • Sharing receipts with other users is not permitted.

  • Manipulating receipt images in any way.

  • Submitting a receipt more than once.

  • Submitting a receipt from another household member.

  • Splitting purchases to several receipts is not permitted.

  • Repetitively uploading receipts with the same products/prices.

  • Opening more than 1 account.

  • Uploading the same receipt under different accounts.

  • Using third party software to upload or manipulate the receipts or the app itself.

 

The following information must be clear on the receipt:​

  • Store name (address and phone number if available).

  • Purchase date

  • Purchase time

  • Purchase's total.

  • Barcodes (if any).

  • The product and price.

How can I earn coins?

  • Snap receipts - 600 coins for every receipt (unless otherwise mentioned)

  • Invite friends - Earn coins for every invited friend that signs up and submit a valid receipt. your friend will also earn bonus coins

  • Come back every day - Get daily bonuses every day - you get a larger bonus every day until the 5th day

  • Achieve levels - Your levels go up the more receipts you snap - each time you reach a new level you will get a coin bonus

  • Email Connect -  Get 1,000 coins for each month you stay connected

  • Amazon Connect - Get 1,000 coins for each month you stay connected

What can I do with the coins I earn?

You can convert your coins to gift cards and earn instant prizes!

How many cashouts can I do per day?

You can do one cashout per day.

Which receipts should I upload?

You should snap any receipt purchased within 14 days, just make sure you upload only your own receipts and upload each receipt only once.

When should I snap my receipts?

Snap all your purchases as soon as you can after the shopping trip,  just ensure the receipts you're snapping are from the last 14 days.

How many times can I submit a receipt?

Only snap a receipt ONCE - each receipt is counted once!

What do I get for inviting friends?

If a friend you invited through the in-app invite system joins STOREWARDS and snaps a valid receipt, you will receive Inviter coins and your friend will get Invited coins.

What is Amazon connect?

With Amazon Connect, you can connect your Amazon account to Storewards, and we will use Amazon Connect to collect your Amazon receipts so that you won't need to send them to us.

You will gain 1000 coins for every month you stay connected. You can join Amazon Connect from the “Account” tab in Storewards, where you will be requested to log into your Amazon account. How often do I need to snap purchases?

You should snap as many receipts as you can, this will help you to earn money & prizes faster. 

You can upload up to 20 receipts each week!

Will my data be kept private?

We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with all data privacy laws, including the UK GDPR. The shopping data you share is used for market research purposes only, We will NOT use your personal data to advertise, promote, or market goods or services directly to you and we do not allow our clients to do so either. No. Apple is not connected in any way to the cashouts and coins in the application

How to revoke access to my Microsoft email account?

To revoke access to a Microsoft (Hotmail, Outlook, Live, etc.) email account, first Log into your Microsoft email account, and go to the "Profile section". Select "Account Settings" and then "Security & Privacy", then go to "Manage Permissions". You can edit/remove these permissions, and select Storewards as the app you'd like to remove.

HOW CAN I USE MY YAHOO ACCOUNT FOR EMAIL CONNECT?

In order to link your Yahoo account,  you simply need to go to the account tab and click on email connect to type in your address and connect it to Storewards.
To revoke access to a Yahoo email account, first log into your Yahoo email account, and go to the profile drop-down under Account Info. Select "Account Security" and then sign in your email password in "App Passwords". There, you can select the Trash Can icon to remove access.

How can i use my google account for email connect?

In order to link your Google account,  you simply need to go to the account tab, and click on email connect to type in your address and connect it to Storewards.

To revoke access to a Google email account, log into your Gmail account, go to Google Account in the profile drop down and select "Security".
1. For App Password connected Gmail Accounts, sign in your email password in "App Passwords". There, you can select the Trash Can icon to remove access.
2. For 2 Step verification connected Google accounts, scroll down to Less secure app access, and select Turn off access, then toggle off the "Allow secure apps" switch.

CAN I CHANGE MY STOREWARDS PHONE NUMBER?

We cannot change or transfer your account from one number to another. Your Storewards history is associated with your phone number upon sign up.
